See also plan 1706A. The major difference between these two plans is the way the roof is framed. 1606A has a shed roof porch and 1706A has the roof pitched from the front of the porch, so more room is gained upstairs without much additional cost. This allows the utility to be moved upstairs (so a better view out the back) and an expandable area above the foyer.
